Bar McWill struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Rowan Doyle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brockra Utd. Rowan Doyle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coinneach Colwell in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daron Dunne in the 13th minute of play forced Ballygawley FC's goalkeeper Rowan Doyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was beautiful to see Brockra Utd's Finnigan McIan in action when he in the 25th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Rowan Doyle made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Leon John sent off a good shot on target. Pearse McPhil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Declan McTommy in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Daron Dunne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rowan Doyle was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. With his leg Rowan Doyle managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Brockra Utd's Bhrighde Ramsey fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 37 minutes into the match, Ballygawley FC's goal looked a bit too open when Coinneach Colwell came free, but Rowan Doyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blamhac McStephen charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blamhac McStephen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Blamhac McStephen kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Declan McTommy to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Coinneach Colwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rowan Doyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rowan Doyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coinneach Colwell in the 55th minute of the match. Daron Dunne's late challenge caught a Ballygawley FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daron Dunne helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute Daron Dunne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rowan Doyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rowan Doyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bhrighde Ramsey in the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Ballygawley FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bhrighde Ramsey came free, but Rowan Doyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Bhrighde Ramsey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 73rd minute of the match Daron Dunne completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Daron Dunne a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Daron Dunne kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Brak Ghee, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Brockra Utd booed when Ballygawley FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Biddy McTommy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rowan Doyle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bhrighde Ramsey in the 86th minute of play. There was no doubt that Brockra Utd were the better team. Brockra Utd's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
