Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Beag Holt got the match started through his kick off. After 4th play minutes Beag Holt shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Breanne Cooney and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 10 minutes, Biviti Frankson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Walshtown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Biviti Frankson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Biviti Frankson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Breanne Cooney having to make a save. Breanne Cooney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beag Holt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beccan Cassin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Breanne Cooney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Beag Holt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Breanne Cooney was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Batt Branson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brett Ghee having to interfere. Mully's Boethis Byrne got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 48 minutes into the game, Walshtown's Biviti Frankson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Breanne Cooney made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Batt Branson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Breanne Cooney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Biviti Frankson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Breanne Cooney didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Biviti Frankson went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beag Holt in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Breanne Cooney saved Mully from getting behind. Beag Holt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Walshtown's Beag Holt in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mully's goalie prevented a goal. After 78 played minutes, Walshtown's Devlin Cassin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Breanne Cooney came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Walshtown reached it. Boyd Gollogley's late challenge caught a Walshtown's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boyd Gollogley helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mully's Boyd Gollogley got a free kick in the 80th minute. Devlin Cassin, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Mully's goal looked a bit too open when Biviti Frankson came free, but Breanne Cooney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, one of Mully:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mully. Devlin Cassin walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Brett Ghee made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boethis Byrne in the 91st minute. After 92 minutes of play Mully's Boyd Gollogley was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Biviti Frankson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breanne Cooney having to interfere. In the 99th minute Beag Holt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breanne Cooney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Breanne Cooney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beag Holt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
