Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Declan McTommy kicked off to start the match. Ballygawley FC's Rowan Doyle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donal Cooney in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to Ballygawley FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Bel Rogers hit a great ball. Brannen Martyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beagan Matthews, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 23 minutes into the game, Biddy McTommy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballygawley FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shanaglish Utd the free kick. In the 23rd minute, Biddy McTommy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute of the match Blamhac Gough shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rowan Doyle showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Ballygawley FC's Beagan Matthews got a free kick in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Shanaglish Utd's Brant McCollion broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Declan McTommy fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 31st minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blaire Deery got free with Rowan Doyle in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Blaire Deery came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rowan Doyle could save by the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a rather tough play, Ballygawley FC's Beagan Matthews got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Brak Ghee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tate Coyle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Shanaglish Utd's Brannen Martyn got control of the ball when Declan McTommy tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute of the match Ballygawley FC got a corner. Shanaglish Utd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Brak Ghee ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Brak Ghee almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Shanaglish Utd's Brannen Martyn did a great save. Rowan Doyle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tate Coyle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Bel Rogers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Ballygawley FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tate Coyle came free, but Rowan Doyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Donal Cooney was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shanaglish Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ballygawley FC the free kick. Donal Cooney kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Ballygawley FC's Beagan Matthews sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brannen Martyn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
