Brockra Utd's Pearse McPhil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shea McAaron in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Shea McAaron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pearse McPhil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bhrighde Ramsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bailey McPhilip having to interfere. Bailey McPhilip made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bhrighde Ramsey in the 8th minute. Leon John kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Shea McAaron left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zamolxian Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Zamolxian Academy's Bailey McPhilip proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Zamolxian Academy from getting a goal against them. If Bhrighde Ramsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 played minutes Zamolxian Academy got a freekick which was hit by Beale McWillie. If Coinneach Colwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Brockra Utd's Coinneach Colwell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bailey McPhilip narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 32 minutes, Bhrighde Ramsey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brockra Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bhrighde Ramsey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bailey McPhilip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Coinneach Colwell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Shea McAaron came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Zamolxian Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shea McAaron couldn't finish the play. Pearse McPhil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Bayes in the 38th minute of play. Bhrighde Ramsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bailey McPhilip having to interfere. When Coinneach Colwell came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Brockra Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Coinneach Colwell couldn't finish the play. Bhrighde Ramsey was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. Brockra Utd's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Coinneach Colwell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bailey McPhilip read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Leon John received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Bailey McPhilip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Zamolxian Academy defense, Leon John kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bailey McPhilip. The Zamolxian Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bailey McPhilip should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Brockra Utd booed when Zamolxian Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip Bayes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bailey McPhilip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bhrighde Ramsey in the 67th minute of play. Bhrighde Ramsey scored 2-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bailey McPhilip, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Shea McAaron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pearse McPhil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Philip Bayes in the 83rd minute. Coinneach Colwell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
