Barhart Cassin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baolach McVictor's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Baolach McVictor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Barhart Cassin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barhart Cassin came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Pallaskenry's Baolach McVictor. But to his dismay, Baolach McVictor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Barhart Cassin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reilley McJon in the 13th minute of play. Reilley McJon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barhart Cassin having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Pallaskenry's Theobald Delaney sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Barhart Cassin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Reilley McJon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donlevy Moran kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match Rowland Ferguson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Barhart Cassin skillfully saved the ball. In the 32nd minute, Aodh Walker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baolach McVictor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Barhart Cassin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baolach McVictor in the 40th minute of play forced Shamrock rovers's goalkeeper Barhart Cassin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pallaskenry's Brannagh Rogers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Pallaskenry from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baolach McVictor to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Shamrock rovers's Gaynor Dimson got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 61st match minute, Shamrock rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reilley Todd to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Beacan McTommy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Pallaskenry's goal looked a bit too open when Teddy Horgan came free, but Brannagh Rogers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reilley McJon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Barhart Cassin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Baolach McVictor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pallaskenry's supporters rose to their feet, but Baolach McVictor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barhart Cassin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Reilley McJon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barhart Cassin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baolach McVictor, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Reilley McJon struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Barhart Cassin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pallaskenry. If Reilley McJon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baolach McVictor in the 84th minute of play forced Shamrock rovers's goalkeeper Barhart Cassin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Pallaskenry's Reilley McJon in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
