Kerrigan Horgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denny Rutherford in the 67th minute of play. If Denny Rutherford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Harold Delaney managed to get in a good position for a shot. Drumkeeran's supporters rose to their feet, but Harold Delaney was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kerrigan Horgan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the game, Harold Delaney cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Kerrigan Horgan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Denny Rutherford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute Harold Delaney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kerrigan Horgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Tate Doherty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harold Delaney in the 94th minute of play forced Liverpool Football Club's goalkeeper Kerrigan Horgan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 3-2 became the score in the 97th minute when Brin Colwell elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Drumkeeran had played much better football throughout.
