After having played for 3 minutes, Shea John managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kocury's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shea John was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brayden Branson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gearalt Prunty in the 5th minute of the match. Colm Prunty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Breffni McBrand's late challenge caught a FC Kocury's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Breffni McBrand helped the player get up and apologised. Gearalt Prunty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Dublin BG Tigers's Beolagh McFrank got a free kick in the 13th minute. Dublin BG Tigers's Colm Prunty got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute, FC Kocury's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Colm Prunty fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Brasil Ryan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dublin BG Tigers's Brasil Ryan in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Kocury's goalie prevented a goal. Colm Prunty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cáirbre Frankson having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shea John was the one to do the kick off. Breffni McBrand took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cáirbre Frankson. Cáirbre Frankson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Breffni McBrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, Dublin BG Tigers's Brasil Ryan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cáirbre Frankson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. A collision led to Dublin BG Tigers getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Dónal McAlphie hit a great ball. Dublin BG Tigers's Brayden Branson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Dublin BG Tigers from getting a goal against them. Gearalt Prunty in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Brayden Branson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. FC Kocury's Shea John got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Shea John notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Dublin BG Tigers's Brayden Branson. Brayden Branson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Riddock Sheridan kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Breffni McBrand might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cáirbre Frankson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Breffni McBrand ran back to his position shaking his head. When Breffni McBrand came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Dublin BG Tigers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Breffni McBrand couldn't finish the play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when FC Kocury's Shea John in the 88th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Brayden Branson was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Dublin BG Tigers through an amazing save. A collision led to Dublin BG Tigers getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ryan Gough hit a great ball.
