In the 18th match minute, FC Suiti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paudraig John to maneuver through the defense. Alex Morrison charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. FC Suiti's supporters rose to their feet, but Pearce Deery was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cáirbre Frankson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shea John made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FC Suiti's zone, Gearalt Prunty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ardán Ghee came out of the goal and Gearalt Prunty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Pearce Deery's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cáirbre Frankson was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Gearalt Prunty hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, FC Suiti's goalkeeper Ardán Ghee had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gearalt Prunty. After a rather tough play, FC Kocury's Jarlath MaCollin got a free kick in the 66th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cáirbre Frankson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jarlath MaCollin during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 96 played minutes FC Kocury got a freekick which was hit by Jarlath MaCollin. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Suiti had won after a very even match.
