In the 3rd minute Jack McPhilip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brayden Branson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glenn Hutton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Brayden Branson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bercnan McGlynn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Breffni McBrand's late challenge caught a FC Dublin24's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Breffni McBrand helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Dublin BG Tigers getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Breffni McBrand hit a great ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Jack McPhilip managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Dublin24's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jack McPhilip was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brayden Branson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jack McPhilip's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Dublin BG Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Bercnan McGlynn came free, but Brayden Branson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brayden Branson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bercnan McGlynn in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dublin BG Tigers's Beolagh McFrank got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute of the match Ryland McPaul sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brayden Branson skillfully saved the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Dublin BG Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Bercnan McGlynn came free, but Brayden Branson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brayden Branson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack McPhilip in the 28th minute of play. Raymun Callaghan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brasil Ryan, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When Bercnan McGlynn came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the FC Dublin24 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bercnan McGlynn couldn't finish the play. Jack McPhilip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brayden Branson having to interfere. Bercnan McGlynn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, FC Dublin24's Rowley Bayes got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The supporters of FC Dublin24 booed when Dublin BG Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rowan Lester didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bercnan McGlynn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brayden Branson having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Bercnan McGlynn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Jack McPhilip fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bercnan McGlynn got free with Brayden Branson in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jack McPhilip scored 0-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brayden Branson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Dublin BG Tigers getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Dónal McAlphie hit a great ball. Jack McPhilip struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Brayden Branson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Dublin24. Jack McPhilip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brayden Branson having to interfere. Colm Prunty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Dublin BG Tigers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Dublin24 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
