Gearóid Doyle kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Heron McSteve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Rosmult's Conaill Frankson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 33 minutes into the match, Batterstown's Britt Myler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Derry Hughes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Beacan Savic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torrey Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thom Rosenblum was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 37 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the game, one of Rosmult:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The crowd rose to their feet as Reidy Costello kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Beacan Savic. That made the score 4-0 in the 45 minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Conaill Frankson was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Batterstown booed when Rosmult was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tipraite McSteven didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Britt Myler in the 52nd minute of play forced Rosmult's goalkeeper Derry Hughes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conaill Frankson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Beacan Savic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Healy McLiam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Batterstown's goal looked a bit too open when Conaill Frankson came free, but Beacan Savic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Britt Myler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conaill Frankson hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Conaill Frankson took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beacan Savic. Beacan Savic dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 83 minutes into the match, Batterstown's goal looked a bit too open when Reidy Costello came free, but Beacan Savic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Britt Myler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beacan Savic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conaill Frankson in the 87th minute of play. Beacan Savic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torrey Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 93 played minutes Rosmult got a freekick which was hit by Tipraite McSteven. The audience thought a goal was coming when Britt Myler got free with Derry Hughes in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rosmult had played much better football throughout.
