Tirloch Savic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley Palmer in the 20th minute of play. Baydan Todd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Tirloch Savic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the match, Bradley Palmer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tirloch Savic. Ballybrood's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bradley Palmer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Barra McLaughlin fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cavetown's protests and gave Barra McLaughlin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cavetown's Barra McLaughlin got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baydan Todd made a kick off. After 56 minutes, Egan Hunt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballybrood and the Cavetown players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ballybrood's Egan Hunt got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Bradley Palmer made a precise shot to the right of Tirloch Savic. Ballybrood's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Don McSteve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Tirloch Savic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradley Palmer in the 93rd minute of the match. Cavetown's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
