The supporters of Raferagh booed when Dublin Athlétic™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braydon Perth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Finbar McNamara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradigan Cassin having to interfere. Aaden Cooney's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bradigan Cassin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Bradigan Cassin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fergal Martyn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Blamhac Tierney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Blamhac Tierney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the game, Brin Caffey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dublin Athlétic™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Raferagh the free kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aaden Cooney was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 71 minutes, Blamhac Tierney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dublin Athlétic™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Blamhac Tierney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cahir Delaney struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Bradigan Cassin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raferagh. If Finbar McNamara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 86 minutes into the game, Aaden Cooney cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Bradigan Cassin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Raferagh were the better team. Raferagh's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
