Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Quinn Moran started the match with the kick off. Phillip McPhil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Quinn Moran went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Quinn Moran who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Phillip McPhil when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Robin McGlynn struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Royan Ryan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Barca Cork. Teddy McStephen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Breaghdha Hunt charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Breaghdha Hunt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Seoirse Dillon's late challenge caught a Foxfield's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Seoirse Dillon helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Barca Cork's Seoirse Dillon got a free kick in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Quinn Moran notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of FC Barca Cork's Phillip McPhil. Phillip McPhil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in FC Barca Cork's zone, Quinn Moran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Phillip McPhil came out of the goal and Quinn Moran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FC Barca Cork's Seoirse Dillon got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Baoithin Tierney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phillip McPhil having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quinn Moran in the 24th minute of play forced FC Barca Cork's goalkeeper Phillip McPhil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tirloch McBrandon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phillip McPhil having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Foxfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breaghdha Hunt to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute of the match Boyd Ferguson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Royan Ryan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. FC Barca Cork's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Breaghdha Hunt scored to the left of an out of position Phillip McPhil, making the score, 3-0. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Barca Cork's goalkeeper Phillip McPhil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quinn Moran in the 47th minute of play forced FC Barca Cork's goalkeeper Phillip McPhil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Robin McGlynn made the kick off in the second half. Quinn Moran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Phillip McPhil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quinn Moran in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phillip McPhil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Quinn Moran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Phillip McPhil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Phillip McPhil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quinn Moran in the 64th minute of the match. Phillip McPhil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quinn Moran, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Quinn Moran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Phillip McPhil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Robin McGlynn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Foxfield fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Foxfield's Quinn Moran looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Teddy McStephen fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Barca Cork's protests and gave Teddy McStephen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, Quinn Moran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Foxfield fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quinn Moran in the 85th minute of play forced FC Barca Cork's goalkeeper Phillip McPhil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quinn Moran might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Phillip McPhil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Quinn Moran ran back to his position shaking his head. Baoithin Tierney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quinn Moran in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phillip McPhil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Foxfield's Quinn Moran got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Foxfield players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
