Phillip McPhil was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pearce McLian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Phillip McPhil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ding Dong's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Phillip McPhil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Phillip McPhil came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Bono's Pearce McLian. But to his dismay, Pearce McLian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to FC Barca Cork getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Seoirse Dillon hit a great ball. After 22 played minutes Bono got a freekick which was hit by Brazil McJames. A collision led to Bono getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Brenan McStephen hit a great ball. In the 25th minute of the match Boyd Ferguson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Braoin McPeter skillfully saved the ball. After 31 minutes, Ding Dong made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. FC Barca Cork's Phillip McPhil tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Pearce McLian sped through FC Barca Cork's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Phillip McPhil. Phillip McPhil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pearce McLian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

54 minutes into the match, FC Barca Cork's goalkeeper Phillip McPhil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ding Dong. Ding Dong came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Phillip McPhil could save by the left post. In the 58th minute of the match, Pearce McLian tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Phillip McPhil saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 66 minutes into the game, Ding Dong cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Phillip McPhil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th minute, Kevion Mullan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes, Bono's Ding Dong shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Phillip McPhil came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bono reached it. Braoin McPeter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seoirse Dillon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FC Barca Cork defense, Ding Dong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Phillip McPhil. The FC Barca Cork fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Phillip McPhil should have stopped the shot. FC Barca Cork's Phillip McPhil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save FC Barca Cork from getting a goal against them.
