Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ciarán McBjarton took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Foxfield's Baoithin Tierney got a free kick in the 4th minute. Baird Doyle kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Boethis McVictor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dewayne McPaul, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Royan Ryan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birr McGlenn in the 14th minute of the match. Baoithin Tierney got his second yellow card in the match during the 15th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 15th match minute, Foxfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baoithin Tierney to maneuver through the defense. Royan Ryan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciarán McBjarton, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Foxfield's Dewayne McPaul got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th match minute, Ballynamult was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bradain Branson to maneuver through the defense. When Brenn Perth fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Foxfield's protests and gave Brenn Perth a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Scot McSteve in the 37th minute of play forced Foxfield's goalkeeper Royan Ryan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Birr McGlenn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Royan Ryan. Foxfield's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Birr McGlenn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Royan Ryan came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ballynamult's Scot McSteve. But to his dismay, Scot McSteve quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Royan Ryan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciarán McBjarton in the 45th minute of the match. Royan Ryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birr McGlenn in the 46th minute of play. Ciarán McBjarton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Royan Ryan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dewayne McPaul to strike the kick off in the second half. Dewayne McPaul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boethis McVictor having to interfere. Royan Ryan was a little too slow when Birr McGlenn got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-4. Royan Ryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birr McGlenn in the 70th minute of play. Darren Mullan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boethis McVictor having to interfere. A collision led to Ballynamult getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Coran Gallagher hit a great ball. When Darren Mullan came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Foxfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darren Mullan couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Ballynamult's Bradain Branson got a free kick in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dewayne McPaul in the 89th minute of play forced Ballynamult's goalkeeper Boethis McVictor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Darren Mullan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boethis McVictor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Ballynamult players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
