Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5875, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) Durrus's Bran John played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eamonn McMichel in the 3rd minute of play. Bran John made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brecc McLian in the 5th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Heron McPhil during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bran John showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brecc McLian, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Bran John took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eamonn McMichel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Damian Dempsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gerald Bayes came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Durrus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerald Bayes couldn't finish the play. Boyle McSteven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerald Bayes in the 36th minute of play. In the 41stth minute of the game Eamonn McMichel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Durrus's Bran John was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Boyle McSteven made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Berk Benson sent off a good shot on target. Berk Benson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyle McSteven having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

57 minutes into the match, Durrus's goalkeeper Bran John had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brecc McLian. Bran John showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eamonn McMichel, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Eamonn McMichel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peafield's supporters rose to their feet, but Eamonn McMichel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bran John breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brecc McLian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Bran John tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beagan McWilliam kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Peafield were awarded a corner. Braon Cassin went to the cornerflag to take it. Donegal McGlynn, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Boyle McSteven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beagan McWilliam in the 82nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gerald Bayes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boyle McSteven was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 88th minute, Brecc McLian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
