Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kealan McJon made the kick off which started today's match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bardan Sheridan got free with Boethis McGlenn in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Bellanamore booed when Callan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Becc Silke didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match, Kealan McJon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Boethis McGlenn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 24th minute Trien McMichel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ros Horgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ros Horgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trien McMichel in the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Callan's Roordan Crowe got a free kick in the 39th minute. Ros Horgan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Trien McMichel's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Callan were furious when Blar Hughes was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Blar Hughes kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Rollin Willson took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boethis McGlenn. Boethis McGlenn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Ros Horgan came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Callan's Trien McMichel. But to his dismay, Trien McMichel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Rowen McNamara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bellanamore's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Trien McMichel scored to the left of an out of position Ros Horgan, making the score, 2-3. Ros Horgan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Trien McMichel went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Bellanamore's Ros Horgan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Bellanamore from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute, Trien McMichel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Bardan Sheridan came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Bellanamore fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bardan Sheridan couldn't finish the play. Trien McMichel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ros Horgan having to interfere. Ros Horgan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Trien McMichel in the 93rd minute. Rowen McNamara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A hard shot 95 in the game by Trien McMichel from a close distance when the talented Ros Horgan managed to make a qualified save. Bellanamore's players were relieved. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Callan walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
