Donald Deans didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Kilbeacanty's Bret Frankson tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Beacan MaCollin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coinneach Beckett in the 9th minute of the match. Kilbeacanty's Beacan MaCollin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Coinneach Beckett in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kilbeacanty's Corey McLian got a free kick in the 11th minute. Corndarragh AFC's Dolan McLaughlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kealan Gollogley in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match Corndarragh AFC got a corner. Kilbeacanty's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Donald Deans ran over to the corner to take the kick. Donald Deans made a great header on Corndarragh AFC's corner, it was just that Kilbeacanty's Beacan MaCollin managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, Kilbeacanty's Beacan MaCollin got control of the ball when Bardon Scully tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute Coinneach Beckett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beacan MaCollin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daron Branson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Beacan MaCollin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Corndarragh AFC's Dolan McLaughlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kealan Gollogley in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute of the match Kilbeacanty got a corner. Corndarragh AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bret Frankson ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Blavock Murphy managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Bardan McNamara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Coinneach Beckett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Beacan MaCollin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kealan Gollogley to strike the kick off in the second half. Bardon Scully kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Dewain McLian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dewain McLian's late challenge caught a Corndarragh AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dewain McLian helped the player get up and apologised. Dewain McLian hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Kilbeacanty's Beacan MaCollin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daron Branson in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Blathmac Caffrey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1-0 became the score in the 89th minute when Daron Branson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Kilbeacanty's Salmon Matthews seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Salmon Matthews the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kilbeacanty protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Salmon Matthews had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 92nd minute, one of Kilbeacanty:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kilbeacanty. Beacan MaCollin had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Donald Deans's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Dewain McLian kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. 98 minutes into the match, Kilbeacanty's goal looked a bit too open when Donald Deans came free, but Beacan MaCollin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
