Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fionntán McGlynn got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brady Murphy during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Brady Murphy kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 4th minute of the match Shiel Delaney shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ros Horgan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kealan McJon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iarla Colwell having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 13 minutes into the game, when Louis McTom put in a rough tackle. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ranaghy! When the match had been going on for 15 minutes, Bellanamore's Rollin Willson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Iarla Colwell. In the 18th minute, Bercnan Gollogley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iarla Colwell was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Brady Murphy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Ranaghy's Iarla Colwell got control of the ball when Brady Murphy tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Bellanamore's Iarla Colwell threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kealan McJon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bercnan Gollogley kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. If Fionntán McGlynn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ranaghy's Fionntán McGlynn got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Kealan McJon made the kick off in the second half. Ros Horgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brennon McMichel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fionntán McGlynn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 60 minutes into the game, Rorry Moran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ros Horgan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Fionntán McGlynn took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Ros Horgan to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shiel Delaney during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 72 minutes, Brady Murphy made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ranaghy's Iarla Colwell tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fionntán McGlynn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kealan McJon scored 4-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iarla Colwell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iarla Colwell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brady Murphy in the 88th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Brady Murphy put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Iarla Colwell. Iarla Colwell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brady Murphy went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bellanamore had won after a very even match.
