Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Patty Martyn made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Kennedy Savic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Modubeagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Kennedy Savic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dolan McLaughlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hayes Deery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Dolan McLaughlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gordon McVictor hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Patty Martyn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patty Martyn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Breslin Holt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Hayes Deery could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Dolan McLaughlin made a huge save. Modubeagh's Kevin McNamee got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donald Deans kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Gordon McVictor kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Modubeagh's Bivadi Molloy couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 31st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Corndarragh AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patty Martyn in the 34th minute of play forced Modubeagh's goalkeeper Breslin Holt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dolan McLaughlin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hayes Deery showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 36 minute of play. If Hayes Deery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dolan McLaughlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin McNamee in the 40th minute of the match. Coinneach Beckett struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Breslin Holt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corndarragh AFC. Kevin McNamee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Dolan McLaughlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Dolan McLaughlin managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Modubeagh's Hayes Deery fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Breslin Holt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patty Martyn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gordon McVictor struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Breslin Holt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corndarragh AFC. In the 67th minute, Kevin McNamee ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dolan McLaughlin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Hayes Deery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Dolan McLaughlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kevin McNamee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corndarragh AFC's Dolan McLaughlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayes Deery in the 81st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Coinneach Beckett got free with Breslin Holt in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kevin McNamee hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Modubeagh's Kevin McNamee fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal, but it hit the crossbar and went out into the crowd. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin McNamee in the 89th minute of play forced Corndarragh AFC's goalkeeper Dolan McLaughlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Breslin Holt came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Corndarragh AFC's Coinneach Beckett. But to his dismay, Coinneach Beckett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Modubeagh had played much better football throughout.
