Dolan McLaughlin was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Conor Costello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dolan McLaughlin having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Conor Costello really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conor Costello got free with Dolan McLaughlin in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dolan McLaughlin was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Boru McJames capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Boru McJames really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. In the 86th match minute, Corndarragh AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hickey McBrand to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patty Martyn in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brann McNamee prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Killashee played a much better game than Corndarragh AFC and deserved their victory. The Corndarragh AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
