Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rowland Rutherford took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 6 minutes, Barr McJohnny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ray's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barr McJohnny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 9th minute Bowen Jameson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedict Delaney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Barr McJohnny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rowland Rutherford's late challenge caught a Ray's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rowland Rutherford helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd play minute Barr McJohnny came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benedict Delaney. 2-0. Barr McJohnny was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. Ray's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 29th minute Bowen Jameson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedict Delaney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barr McJohnny got free with Benedict Delaney in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barram Tracy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Dinny McLiam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Victoria Crossers's goalkeeper Benedict Delaney had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barr McJohnny. If Bowen Jameson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Ray's Bowen Jameson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Benedict Delaney made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barr McJohnny in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bowen Jameson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benedict Delaney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bowen Jameson in the 52nd minute of the match. Victoria Crossers's Benedict Delaney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bowen Jameson in the 59th minute of play. Benedict Delaney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barr McJohnny in the 66th minute of the match. Barr McJohnny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shannon Ferguson hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Ray defense, Barram Tracy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dinny McLiam. The Ray fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dinny McLiam should have stopped the shot. Barr McJohnny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd match minute, Victoria Crossers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Troy Morrison to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Bowen Jameson made a precise shot to the right of Benedict Delaney. Victoria Crossers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Victoria Crossers's Benedict Delaney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bowen Jameson in the 91st minute of play. Benedict Delaney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bowen Jameson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedict Delaney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barr McJohnny, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Ray's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
