Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Baran McJohnny made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kerrigan Brennan got free with Britain Ryan in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barde Doyle in the 6th minute of play forced Stamullin's goalkeeper Britain Ryan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Churchvilla's attentive Hugh Willson managed to snatch the ball when Barnaby Colwell made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. Kerrigan Brennan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Britain Ryan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barnaby Colwell charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Barnaby Colwell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes Stamullin got a freekick which was hit by Barnaby Colwell. In the 22nd minute Breen Martyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Britain Ryan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baran McJohnny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Declan McWillie having to interfere. In the 27th minute Bram Horgan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Declan McWillie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Declan McWillie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bram Horgan in the 29th minute of play. With 29 minutes on the clock, Samuel Tracy commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 28th minute, one of Churchvilla:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Churchvilla. Churchvilla's Kerrigan Brennan got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute of the match Churchvilla got a corner. Stamullin's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bowie McJohnny ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Bowie McJohnny got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Britain Ryan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Stamullin's zone, Kerrigan Brennan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Britain Ryan came out of the goal and Kerrigan Brennan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Churchvilla's Bearchan McFrank got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bearchan McFrank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Britain Ryan having to interfere. Britain Ryan made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Kerrigan Brennan sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barde Doyle made a kick off. Kerrigan Brennan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Britain Ryan having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Kerrigan Brennan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Churchvilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Kerrigan Brennan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Britain Ryan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stamullin's Britain Ryan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugh Willson in the 60th minute of play. When Kerrigan Brennan came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Churchvilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kerrigan Brennan couldn't finish the play. Kerrigan Brennan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Britain Ryan having to interfere. Bram Horgan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Declan McWillie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kerrigan Brennan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Britain Ryan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kerrigan Brennan went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Kerrigan Brennan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugh Willson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Britain Ryan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 2-0 became the score in the 84th minute when Kerrigan Brennan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Kerrigan Brennan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Bearchan McFrank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Churchvilla walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
