Benedict Delaney made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rowley Kirby in the 8th minute. Blathma Cassin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedict Delaney read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rowley Kirby got free with Benedict Delaney in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Rowley Kirby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Binnech Walker during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Oldleighlin AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Binnech Walker to maneuver through the defense. Ailín McLaughlin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Barram Tracy went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 32 played minutes Oldleighlin AFC got a freekick which was hit by Petran Todd. If Barram Tracy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Rowley Kirby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Blathma Cassin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benedict Delaney. Blathma Cassin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barram Tracy in the 42nd minute of play forced Oldleighlin AFC's goalkeeper Ailín McLaughlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 47 in the game by Rowley Kirby from a close distance when the talented Benedict Delaney managed to make a qualified save. Victoria Crossers's players were relieved. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When Beckett Hunt fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oldleighlin AFC's protests and gave Beckett Hunt a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Oldleighlin AFC's Beckett Hunt got a free kick in the 55th minute. Benedict Delaney came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Oldleighlin AFC's Blathma Cassin. But to his dismay, Blathma Cassin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Barram Tracy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Ailín McLaughlin made a huge save. Benedict Delaney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blathma Cassin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dillon Myler kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 75th match minute, Victoria Crossers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Scot McTommy to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Victoria Crossers's zone, Rowley Kirby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedict Delaney came out of the goal and Rowley Kirby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute Blathma Cassin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedict Delaney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Victoria Crossers defense, Rowley Kirby kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedict Delaney. The Victoria Crossers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedict Delaney should have stopped the shot. Rowley Kirby might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benedict Delaney. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rowley Kirby ran back to his position shaking his head. After 94 minutes of play Oldleighlin AFC's Binnech Walker was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Binnech Walker kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Oldleighlin AFC had won after a very even match.
