The score was now 1-0. If Bowen Jameson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barr McJohnny in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ailín McLaughlin saved Oldleighlin AFC from getting behind. 22 minutes into the game, Bowen Jameson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ailín McLaughlin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 26 minutes into the match, Ray's goal looked a bit too open when Blathma Cassin came free, but Dinny McLiam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blathma Cassin in the 27th minute of play forced Ray's goalkeeper Dinny McLiam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rowley Kirby in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dinny McLiam, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Blathma Cassin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinny McLiam having to interfere. When Blathma Cassin came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Oldleighlin AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blathma Cassin couldn't finish the play. Barr McJohnny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bowen Jameson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ailín McLaughlin having to interfere. When Ray's Barr McJohnny in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bowen Jameson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th match minute, Ray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shannon Ferguson to maneuver through the defense. Blathma Cassin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Dinny McLiam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 minutes, Rowley Kirby made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ray's Dinny McLiam tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Oldleighlin AFC's Ailín McLaughlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bowen Jameson in the 67th minute of play. Rowley Kirby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinny McLiam having to interfere. Rowley Kirby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barr McJohnny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Ray booed when Oldleighlin AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Lavine didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Beckett Hunt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Ray's Cianán McTom broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ailín McLaughlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bowen Jameson in the 85th minute of play. Ray's Shannon Ferguson got his second yellow card of the match in the 88th minute. The referee ordered Shannon Ferguson off the ground. In the 89th minute of the match Farrell McJohnny sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dinny McLiam skillfully saved the ball. Barr McJohnny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ailín McLaughlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
