After a rather tough play, Stamullin's Gearóid Gallagher got a free kick in the 23rd minute. If Baran McJohnny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bram Horgan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 36th playminute. Bram Horgan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Rowland Rutherford made the kick off in the second half. Alan Lavine's late challenge caught a Victoria Crossers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Lavine helped the player get up and apologised. Alan Lavine kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Stamullin's goalkeeper Britain Ryan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barram Tracy. If Barram Tracy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rowland Rutherford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Britain Ryan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Rowland Rutherford recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Britain Ryan. Rowland Rutherford showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Benedict Delaney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baran McJohnny, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Bram Horgan struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Benedict Delaney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stamullin. Breffni McGlynn's late challenge caught a Stamullin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Breffni McGlynn helped the player get up and apologised. Breffni McGlynn hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Rowland Rutherford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Britain Ryan having to interfere. Stamullin's Britain Ryan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Stamullin from getting a goal against them. Benedict Delaney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bram Horgan in the 96th minute of play. Benedict Delaney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bram Horgan in the 98th minute of the match.
