An unexpectedly hard shot by Bram Horgan in the 12th minute of play forced TheIdealAttack's goalkeeper Randal McSteven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Rollan McFrancise notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Stamullin's Britain Ryan. Britain Ryan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Aengus Cassin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Stamullin got a freekick which was hit by Gearóid Gallagher. Britain Ryan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Darrick Ryan. Rollan McFrancise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Britain Ryan having to interfere. Britain Ryan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aengus Cassin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rollan McFrancise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Stamullin's goalkeeper Britain Ryan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 46thth minute of the game Aengus Cassin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stamullin's Britain Ryan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baran McJohnny was the one to do the kick off. Baran McJohnny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Stamullin booed when TheIdealAttack was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rory Deery didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rollan McFrancise hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Randal McSteven made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bram Horgan in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Stamullin's goal looked a bit too open when Rollan McFrancise came free, but Britain Ryan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Stamullin getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Irwin Silke hit a great ball. Rollan McFrancise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Britain Ryan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Stamullin! Rollan McFrancise blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Britain Ryan having to make a save. Blathmac McPhilip hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. A collision led to Stamullin getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Irwin Silke hit a great ball. Rollan McFrancise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Britain Ryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aengus Cassin in the 84th minute of play. Randal McSteven made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Irwin Silke sent off a good shot on target. Beale Costello struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Britain Ryan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TheIdealAttack. TheIdealAttack were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Stamullin for a fine match.
