Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lackbrooder's Pierce Johnson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Lackbrooder from getting a goal against them. In the 8th minute, Declan Caffey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bat Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bera McSteven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braydon Rogers in the 11th minute of play. Donegal Willson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bat Rogers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Braydon Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lackbrooder's Pierce Johnson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Banban McSteven in the 23rd minute of play. Glacknabrade's Bera McSteven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bat Rogers in the 25th minute of play. Banban McSteven kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. When Bat Rogers came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Lackbrooder fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bat Rogers couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Glacknabrade defense, Bat Rogers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bera McSteven. The Glacknabrade fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bera McSteven should have stopped the shot. Theobald McAaron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Pierce Johnson made a huge save. In the 36th minute Donegal Willson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bera McSteven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Theobald McAaron might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pierce Johnson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Theobald McAaron ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Glacknabrade's Bradner Quinnless slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pierce Johnson. That made the score 1-1 after 43 minutes of play. From close distance Theobald McAaron pressed in the 2-1 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 46 minutes into the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Braydon Rogers was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Bat Rogers got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Pierce Johnson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theobald McAaron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the game, Lackbrooder's Seán McFrancise nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bera McSteven made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Bera McSteven made an important save on a dangerous shot by Seán McFrancise in the 68th minute. Pierce Johnson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theobald McAaron in the 70th minute of the match. Glacknabrade's Bera McSteven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donegal Willson in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute Braydon Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bera McSteven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glacknabrade's Bera McSteven proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Glacknabrade from getting a goal against them. In the 81st minute, Kennedy Deans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Glacknabrade fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. In the 86th minute Bradner Quinnless shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierce Johnson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seán McFrancise hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 88 played minutes, Glacknabrade's Kevin Hughes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pierce Johnson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Glacknabrade reached it. Lackbrooder's Pierce Johnson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theobald McAaron in the 94th minute of play. Bat Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 98 minutes of play, Glacknabrade's Bradner Quinnless made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pierce Johnson was left in no man's land by his defense there!
