Biviti Todd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis Mulvihill in the 11th minute of the match. After 14 minutes, Basil Delaney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kilsob AFC and the Maryfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. Basil Delaney hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. If Ryland Taylor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Finn Barrett was shown his second yellow card after 18 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Finn Barrett hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Bar McJohn threw the ball into play from the sideline. Kilsob AFC's Burke McAlphie quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Biviti Todd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryland Taylor in the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Kilsob AFC got a freekick which was hit by Brite McJon. Biviti Todd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louis Mulvihill, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. If Batt Palmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Kilsob AFC's zone, Baird Hutton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Biviti Todd came out of the goal and Baird Hutton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Batt Palmer made the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, Maryfield's Beckett Caffrey made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Biviti Todd was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 63 minutes of play Kilsob AFC's Brite McJon was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Glen McFrancise's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Biviti Todd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Beckett Caffrey's late challenge caught a Kilsob AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beckett Caffrey helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kilsob AFC booed when Maryfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beckett Caffrey didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burke McAlphie in the 69th minute of play forced Maryfield's goalkeeper Hayes Harkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Louis Mulvihill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Louis Mulvihill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Biviti Todd made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Mulvihill in the 80th minute of play forced Kilsob AFC's goalkeeper Biviti Todd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Kilsob AFC's Biviti Todd got control of the ball when Beckett Caffrey tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maryfield may have spent more time on the ball, but Kilsob AFC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
