Spectators: 8051 (Terracing: 6039, Seating: 1852, VIP seats: 160) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Heremon Caffrey kicked off to start the match. Taveon McTom came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Ballylangley's Bodibeua Walker. But to his dismay, Bodibeua Walker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 10 played minutes Puffy the Dog got a freekick which was hit by Blaithmeic Doyle. The supporters of Puffy the Dog booed when Ballylangley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bodibeua Walker didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Puffy the Dog getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Barock Martyn hit a great ball. Donncha Keegan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Banon Dunne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bodibeua Walker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taveon McTom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Banon Dunne, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Banon Dunne in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Taveon McTom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Art Frankson fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballylangley's protests and gave Art Frankson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ballylangley getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Art Frankson hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Banon Dunne in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Taveon McTom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Banon Dunne made a kick off. Taveon McTom was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bodibeua Walker showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 52 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Banon Dunne in the 56th minute of play forced Puffy the Dog's goalkeeper Taveon McTom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taveon McTom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Banon Dunne in the 58th minute of the match. When Garrett Hunt fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puffy the Dog's protests and gave Garrett Hunt a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 played minutes Puffy the Dog got a freekick which was hit by Garrett Hunt. Barock Martyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breffni Benson having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brecc Morrison during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Heremon Caffrey struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Breffni Benson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puffy the Dog. The long shot by Royan McWilliam in the 78th minute really tested Taveon McTom's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Art Frankson was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 80 played minutes Ballylangley got a freekick which was hit by Art Frankson. When Bodibeua Walker came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Ballylangley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bodibeua Walker couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Brecc Morrison reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Taveon McTom. The goal made the score 0-4. Heremon Caffrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
