Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ryan McWill got the match started through his kick off. In the 10th minute, Louis Mulvihill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute, Ryland Taylor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute of the match Baptist Palmer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Biviti Costello showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 26th match minute, Gowlin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flannery Sheridan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryland Taylor in the 31st minute of play forced Gowlin's goalkeeper Biviti Costello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Louis Mulvihill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Biviti Costello having to interfere. Biviti Costello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ryland Taylor's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. When Beckett Caffrey came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Maryfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beckett Caffrey couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryland Taylor in the 43rd minute of play forced Gowlin's goalkeeper Biviti Costello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ryan McWill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ryan McWill in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hayes Harkin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ryland Taylor was the one to do the kick off. Biviti Costello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryland Taylor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Louis Mulvihill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryland Taylor in the 55th minute of play forced Gowlin's goalkeeper Biviti Costello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Louis Mulvihill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ryland Taylor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Biviti Costello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Louis Mulvihill hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Beagan McFrank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayes Harkin having to interfere. In the 65th minute Ryland Taylor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biviti Costello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Maryfield getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Beckett Caffrey hit a great ball. In the 69th minute Ryan McWill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayes Harkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glen McFrancise, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ryan McWill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ryan McWill's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hayes Harkin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute of the match Bar McJohn sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Biviti Costello skillfully saved the ball. Louis Mulvihill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Biviti Costello having to interfere. Ryland Taylor struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Biviti Costello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maryfield. In the 93rd minute of the match Bradagain McPhil shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hayes Harkin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gowlin's Biviti Costello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Mulvihill in the 95th minute of play. Maryfield's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Glen McFrancise in the 96th minute. Maryfield's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
