The coaching staff of TheDaffyDuck protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Baiste Cassin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Maryfield a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Glen McFrancise, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of TheDaffyDuck's Donegan Costello. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Louis Mulvihill's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donegan Costello was relentless in the 7th minute of the game.
