Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bree McPeter kicked off to start the match. When Birr Glen Crowe fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Briskil Utd's protests and gave Birr Glen Crowe a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Briskil Utd fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Beglan McCready, was totally fooled by Bealaclugga's Brendan Gallagher, who 10 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Briskil Utd's Bree McPeter got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Blaire Hutton came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Bealaclugga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blaire Hutton couldn't finish the play. Bealaclugga's Rian Gallagher got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rian Gallagher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rian Gallagher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Briskil Utd booed when Bealaclugga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rowan Rutherford didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

58 minutes into the match, Bealaclugga's goal looked a bit too open when Bree McPeter came free, but Toren Gallagher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rian Gallagher's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beglan McCready was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Toren Gallagher acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 67th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Brenainn John. Glenn McJames hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. A collision led to Briskil Utd getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Birr Glen Crowe hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute of the match Brendan Gallagher sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Beglan McCready skillfully saved the ball. In the 94th match minute, Bealaclugga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rorey Walker to maneuver through the defense. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
