Theobald Matthews fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Holt having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Rownun Robinson made a precise shot to the right of George Holt. Los Malaguistas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. George Holt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rownun Robinson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Phillip Gallagher struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Terry McCready didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Malaguistas. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Toom! The goalkeeper, Terry McCready, was totally fooled by Los Malaguistas's Torey Duggan, who 25 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Theobald Matthews sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Theobald Matthews fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Holt having to interfere. Booak McAaron hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Oliver McDonald, 39 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Terry McCready showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phillip Gallagher, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Theobald Matthews fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Holt having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Reidy Johnson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Malaguistas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reidy Johnson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Phillip Gallagher scored 3-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Terry McCready, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Los Malaguistas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
