When Finian McJohn fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clonyhague's protests and gave Finian McJohn a yellow card for diving instead. Finian McJohn kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brigid Savic in the 16th minute of play forced Bunnagippaun's goalkeeper Bean Dempsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Dalton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Bean Dempsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Bunnagippaun getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Harry Lavine hit a great ball. Bean Dempsey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brigid Savic's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Bunnagippaun's Gehan McCollion got a free kick in the 24th minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Henry Dalton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clonyhague's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Dalton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henry Dalton kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Gehan McCollion hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the game, Casey Hughes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bean Dempsey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Henry Dalton struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Bean Dempsey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clonyhague. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brigid Savic in the 43rd minute of play forced Bunnagippaun's goalkeeper Bean Dempsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casey Hughes's late challenge caught a Bunnagippaun's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casey Hughes helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes, Bunnagippaun's Timmons Ryan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Todd Dempsey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bunnagippaun reached it. Todd Dempsey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brain Walker in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Brain Walker made the kick off in the second half. Bean Dempsey was a little too slow when Brigid Savic got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-2. Clonyhague's Casey Hughes got his second yellow card of the match in the 59th minute. The referee ordered Casey Hughes off the ground. In the 60th match minute, Clonyhague was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casey Hughes to maneuver through the defense. Henry Dalton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Brain Walker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Bunnagippaun's goalkeeper Bean Dempsey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henry Dalton. In the 72nd minute, Henry Dalton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brain Walker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Todd Dempsey having to interfere. A hard shot 82 in the game by Henry Dalton from a close distance when the talented Bean Dempsey managed to make a qualified save. Bunnagippaun's players were relieved. If Brenn McJohn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Breadan Bayes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clonyhague fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Henry Dalton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bean Dempsey having to interfere.
