Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bunnagippaun's Rowe Morrison started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roland Dimson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rowe Morrison in the 8th minute. Roland Dimson came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Bunnagippaun's Bragan McWillie. But to his dismay, Bragan McWillie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bragan McWillie in the 12th minute of play forced Letterlough's goalkeeper Roland Dimson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barde Silke struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Bean Dempsey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Letterlough. Geoffrey Ramsey kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, Bunnagippaun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rowe Morrison to maneuver through the defense. Damian Dalton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bean Dempsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barde Silke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bean Dempsey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barde Silke's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute Damian Dalton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bean Dempsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bean Dempsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Dalton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bean Dempsey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Dalton in the 41st minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damian Dalton to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bragan McWillie in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roland Dimson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Bunnagippaun's zone, Reidy Lavine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bean Dempsey came out of the goal and Reidy Lavine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bunnagippaun's Bean Dempsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Dalton in the 64th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Bunnagippaun's goal looked a bit too open when Barde Silke came free, but Bean Dempsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Letterlough's goal looked a bit too open when Brain Walker came free, but Roland Dimson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Damian Dalton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bean Dempsey. That made the score 1-2 in the 79 minute of play. Reidy Lavine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Bean Dempsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Bunnagippaun booed when Letterlough was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rollin McFrancise didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bean Dempsey was a little too slow when Rollin McFrancise got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-3.
