Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomás Branson started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clonyhague's goalkeeper Todd Dempsey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Todd Dempsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Branson, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Brenn McJohn charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brenn McJohn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Brenn McJohn hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Bivitas McIan took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Todd Dempsey. Todd Dempsey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 13 played minutes Carrigdangan got a freekick which was hit by Bearnard McBjarton. In the 15th minute, Brenn McJohn reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kevinn Horgan. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 18th minute Brigid Savic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevinn Horgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute of the match Clonyhague got a corner. Carrigdangan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Payton Todd ran over to the corner to take the kick. Henry Dalton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Kevinn Horgan made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, Brigid Savic dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kevinn Horgan, 2-1. In the 28th minute, Brigid Savic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bivitas McIan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Todd Dempsey having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Ros McLian made a precise shot to the right of Todd Dempsey. Clonyhague's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Bree Glen Crowe kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Kevinn Horgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brigid Savic in the 47th minute of the match.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brigid Savic to strike the kick off in the second half. Todd Dempsey made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Ros McLian sent off a good shot on target. Conn Lavine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Carrigdangan booed when Clonyhague was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brenn McJohn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute of the match Carrigdangan got a corner. Clonyhague's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomás Branson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Torrian Cooney was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. Brigid Savic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carrigdangan's Kevinn Horgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brenn McJohn in the 70th minute of play. When Brigid Savic came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Clonyhague fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brigid Savic couldn't finish the play. Bivitas McIan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Todd Dempsey having to interfere. Bearnad Doyle hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Carrigdangan's Ros McLian got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kevinn Horgan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brigid Savic's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute Brigid Savic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevinn Horgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Todd Dempsey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bivitas McIan in the 88th minute. Kevinn Horgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Dalton in the 89th minute of play. 98 minutes into the match, Carrigdangan's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Dalton came free, but Kevinn Horgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carrigdangan were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Clonyhague to leave the ground with a draw.
