After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Derry Prunty managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moylough's supporters rose to their feet, but Derry Prunty was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dónal Bayes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Braydon McSteve stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Declan Murphy's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Breandan Hutton kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Braydon McSteve made an important save on a dangerous shot by Declan Murphy in the 8th minute. Binnech Taylor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Braydon McSteve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Declan Murphy got free with Braydon McSteve in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute Bairrionn McWilliam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braydon McSteve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bodenstown FC! In the 17th minute, Bodenstown FC's Binnech Taylor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Shiel Jameson's late challenge caught a Bodenstown FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shiel Jameson helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes Moylough got a freekick which was hit by Shiel Jameson. When Breandan Hutton fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moylough's protests and gave Breandan Hutton a yellow card for diving instead. Breandan Hutton kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Bodenstown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Torin Beckett came free, but Dónal Bayes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braydon McSteve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bairrionn McWilliam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Moylough getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Patrick Gough hit a great ball. After 33 minutes, Binnech Taylor made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Moylough's Braydon McSteve tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bodenstown FC's Dónal Bayes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bean Kelly in the 38th minute of play. Binnech Taylor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Braydon McSteve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bean Kelly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Binnech Taylor made a kick off. When Moylough's Leonard Dimson in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bodenstown FC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Binnech Taylor during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 played minutes Bodenstown FC got a freekick which was hit by Binnech Taylor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Declan Murphy in the 59th minute of play forced Moylough's goalkeeper Braydon McSteve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Leonard Dimson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dónal Bayes. The goal made the score 3-2. Braydon McSteve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Binnech Taylor, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bean Kelly during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bodenstown FC booed when Moylough was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bean Kelly didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Moylough fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Moylough's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
