Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonard Dimson started the match with the kick off. If Torin Beckett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Derry Prunty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Todd Dempsey having to interfere. In the 10thth minute of the game Torin Beckett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clonyhague's Todd Dempsey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Todd Dempsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bean Kelly, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 20th minute Brigid Savic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braydon McSteve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonard Dimson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Todd Dempsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonard Dimson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Todd Dempsey having to interfere. If Bearach Tracy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Moylough booed when Clonyhague was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brenn McJohn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Bearnad Doyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36thth minute of the game Leonard Dimson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clonyhague's Todd Dempsey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Todd Dempsey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Dimson in the 39th minute of play. Clonyhague's Todd Dempsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Dimson in the 43rd minute of play. Moylough's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Brigid Savic 45 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Brigid Savic made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Clonyhague's zone, Bean Kelly stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Todd Dempsey came out of the goal and Bean Kelly tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, Clonyhague's goalkeeper Todd Dempsey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torin Beckett. Braydon McSteve came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Clonyhague's Henry Dalton. But to his dismay, Henry Dalton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 59th minute, Casey Hughes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 63 minutes, Bean Kelly managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moylough's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bean Kelly was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Todd Dempsey was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patrick Gough showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 66 minute of play. In the 70th minute Derry Prunty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Todd Dempsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bean Kelly charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bean Kelly the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Bean Kelly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Moylough's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Dalton came free, but Braydon McSteve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braydon McSteve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brigid Savic in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Bean Kelly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Braydon McSteve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brigid Savic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saoirse Glen Crowe's late challenge caught a Clonyhague's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saoirse Glen Crowe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th match minute, Moylough was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saoirse Glen Crowe to maneuver through the defense. Henry Dalton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Todd Dempsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derry Prunty, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
