Eoghan McWilliam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Todd Dempsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Todd Dempsey didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Glanoe's Batt Grant shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 16th minute, Brenn McJohn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clonyhague fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Glanoe's Barra Cronin got a free kick in the 19th minute. Todd Dempsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bressal McGlenn, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Clonyhague's Casey Hughes got his second yellow card of the match in the 24th minute. The referee ordered Casey Hughes off the ground. After 25 played minutes Clonyhague got a freekick which was hit by Casey Hughes. A hard shot 27 in the game by Batt Grant from a close distance when the talented Todd Dempsey managed to make a qualified save. Clonyhague's players were relieved. The supporters of Glanoe booed when Clonyhague was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brigid Savic didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute Brenn McJohn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rylee Hughes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Clonyhague booed when Glanoe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradley McJohnny didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henry Dalton's late challenge caught a Glanoe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henry Dalton helped the player get up and apologised. The long shot by Riddoc Rogers in the 38th minute really tested Todd Dempsey's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience was convinced that Batt Grant's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Todd Dempsey was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. In the 42nd minute, Bradley McJohnny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 43 minutes, Henry Dalton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clonyhague's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Dalton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 48 minutes into the game, Comhghall McCready was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glanoe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clonyhague the free kick. Comhghall McCready kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henry Dalton to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Clonyhague's Brigid Savic got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brenn McJohn in the 56th minute of play forced Glanoe's goalkeeper Rylee Hughes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Glanoe getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Eoghan McWilliam hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Clonyhague's Henry Dalton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rylee Hughes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bressal McGlenn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brenn McJohn kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Batt Grant struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Todd Dempsey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glanoe. Eoghan McWilliam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Todd Dempsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Clonyhague's Brenn McJohn slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rylee Hughes. That made the score 3-2 after 80 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Henry Dalton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clonyhague's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Dalton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rylee Hughes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 88 played minutes Clonyhague got a freekick which was hit by Bearchan Ryan. In the 90th minute of the match Riddoc Rogers shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Todd Dempsey showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Clonyhague's Todd Dempsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batt Grant in the 95th minute of play. When Brigid Savic fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clonyhague's protests and gave Brigid Savic a yellow card for diving instead. Clonyhague's Todd Dempsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batt Grant in the 98th minute of play.
