Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Baiscend Frankson made the kick off which started today's match. 7 minutes into the match, Carrigdangan's goal looked a bit too open when Baiscend Frankson came free, but Kevinn Horgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevinn Horgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Finn McJohn in the 8th minute of the match. Aubrey Robinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quinn McBjarton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Branson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevinn Horgan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baiscend Frankson went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ros McLian hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 32 minutes of play, Limerick AFC's Aubrey Robinson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kevinn Horgan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Quinn McBjarton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Branson in the 35th minute of the match. Pearson McLian struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Kevinn Horgan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limerick AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Finn McJohn in the 38th minute of play forced Carrigdangan's goalkeeper Kevinn Horgan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 played minutes Carrigdangan got a freekick which was hit by Torrian Cooney. Conn Lavine hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When Limerick AFC's Baiscend Frankson in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carrigdangan's goalie prevented a goal. In the 43rd minute Baiscend Frankson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevinn Horgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Limerick AFC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Branson made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Carrigdangan's goalkeeper Kevinn Horgan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Finn McJohn. The Limerick AFC fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Limerick AFC's Baiscend Frankson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Carrigdangan's Kevinn Horgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pearson McLian in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Carrigdangan's zone, Pearson McLian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kevinn Horgan came out of the goal and Pearson McLian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Aubrey Robinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baiscend Frankson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baiscend Franksons short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Kevinn Horgan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kevinn Horgan had great luck who in the 78thth minute grab hold of the ball when Baiscend Frankson from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Kevinn Horgan was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Pearson McLian capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pearson McLian really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baiscend Frankson got free with Kevinn Horgan in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Carrigdangan's Kevinn Horgan got control of the ball when Baiscend Frankson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Baiscend Frankson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Kevinn Horgan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carrigdangan's Kevinn Horgan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Carrigdangan from getting a goal against them. Limerick AFC played a much better game than Carrigdangan and deserved their victory. The Carrigdangan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
