Batt Grant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Batt Grant put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Danann McCready. After 17 minutes, Batt Grant made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Up The Dubs's Danann McCready tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Up The Dubs's goal looked a bit too open when Batt Grant came free, but Danann McCready reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danann McCready stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Batt Grant's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 24th match minute, Up The Dubs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braden McNamee to maneuver through the defense. Glanoe's Rylee Hughes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bevin Callaghan in the 27th minute of play. Rylee Hughes didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 29th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Eoghan McWilliam kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to Glanoe getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Comhghall McCready hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Up The Dubs's goal looked a bit too open when Batt Grant came free, but Danann McCready reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Batt Grant in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danann McCready prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40thth minute of the game Batt Grant who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Up The Dubs's Danann McCready was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Up The Dubs's Danann McCready played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batt Grant in the 41st minute of play. Danann McCready showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batt Grant in the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Batt Grant had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danann McCready. Up The Dubs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Batt Grant was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Batt Grant to make the kick off. If Bressal McGlenn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the game, Henry McPaul cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Rylee Hughes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 59 minutes, Batt Grant managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glanoe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batt Grant was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Batt Grants short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Danann McCready to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Danann McCready made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Batt Grant sent off a good shot on target. When Henry McPaul came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Up The Dubs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry McPaul couldn't finish the play. After 67 played minutes Glanoe got a freekick which was hit by Bradley McJohnny. 73 minutes into the match, Batt Grant notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Up The Dubs's Danann McCready. Danann McCready was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Batt Grant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Danann McCready tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rylee Hughes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry McPaul, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Batt Grant cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Danann McCready was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Up The Dubs's Danann McCready played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batt Grant in the 93rd minute of play. The supporters of Up The Dubs booed when Glanoe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conleth Sheridan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rylee Hughes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry McPaul, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Glanoe walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
