Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Beltany McDonald got the match started through his kick off. When Brett McJohnny came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Dolgin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brett McJohnny couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute Beltany McDonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rylee Hughes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Barram McSteve fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dolgin FC's protests and gave Barram McSteve a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Barram McSteve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Glanoe's Bressal McGlenn got a free kick in the 11th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brenan Ferguson during the 13th minute. If Eoghan McWilliam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bressal McGlenn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Rownun McNamee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Dolgin FC's zone, Eoghan McWilliam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rownun McNamee came out of the goal and Eoghan McWilliam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Bressal McGlenn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dolgin FC's Rownun McNamee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Riddoc Rogers in the 38th minute of play. Eoghan McWilliam blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rownun McNamee having to make a save. Bressal McGlenn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Rownun McNamee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 43rd minute of the match Barram McSteve completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Barram McSteve a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Glanoe booed when Dolgin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barram McSteve didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Glanoe's Bressal McGlenn in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dolgin FC's goalie prevented a goal. Rylee Hughes made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Beltany McDonald sent off a good shot on target. Bressal McGlenn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Dolgin FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Beltany McDonald hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Bressal McGlenn made a precise shot to the right of Rownun McNamee. Dolgin FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Beltany McDonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rylee Hughes having to interfere. Rownun McNamee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eoghan McWilliam, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Glanoe were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Dolgin FC for a fine match.
