Donn McSteven struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Brennen Delaney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caheradrine. Ros Barrett charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Caheradrine's Ros Barrett got a free kick in the 71st minute. Brennen Delaney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donn McSteven in the 74th minute of play. Peyton McNamee made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Hickey Perth sent off a good shot on target. Reamann Taylor hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boynton Rutherford during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 played minutes Caheradrine got a freekick which was hit by Boynton Rutherford. 95 minutes into the match, Springhill Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Boynton Rutherford came free, but Brennen Delaney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Springhill Utd players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Caheradrine.
