The crowd rose to their feet as Terry Martyn kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bracken John. That made the score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. Bebhinn McTommy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barnaby McAaron, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Ballygar Town's Darick McFrancise dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Ballygar Town's Seosamh Dimson was substituted for Terry Martyn. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Piers Sheridan to strike the kick off in the second half. Bracken John showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darick McFrancise in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Shamus McGlynn made a precise shot to the right of Bracken John. Clúb Futbol Campilé's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When Seosamh Dimson fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballygar Town's protests and gave Seosamh Dimson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, Braon Caffey reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bebhinn McTommy. The goal made the score 4-1. Bracken John made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piers Sheridan in the 72nd minute of play. Braon Caffey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The corner ended in Farrell Ghee almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ballygar Town's Bebhinn McTommy did a great save. Bracken John made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piers Sheridan in the 92nd minute of play. Ballygar Town walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
