After a rather tough play, Littlemill Brunts's Rordan Deans got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 29 minutes into the match, Dane McSteven had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Booak McPeter. Ballykean's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dane McSteven was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Earnán Deans's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Harkin McGlenn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Earnán Deans hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Pearson Dempsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Harkin McGlenn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Harkin McGlenn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pearson Dempsey in the 51st minute of the match. Harkin McGlenn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devlin McNamee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pearson Dempsey in the 58th minute of play forced Littlemill Brunts's goalkeeper Harkin McGlenn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Littlemill Brunts's Rordan Deans got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute Earnán Deans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harkin McGlenn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute of the game, Devlin McNamee landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 70 minutes, Barrie Coyle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Littlemill Brunts and the Ballykean players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ballykean made a substitution. Beale McBrandon replaced Devlin McNamee. Barrie Coyle kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Barrie Coyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 played minutes Littlemill Brunts got a freekick which was hit by Balor Willson. Rordan Deans hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Earnán Deans in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harkin McGlenn saved Littlemill Brunts from getting behind. In the 87th minute, Balor Willson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Booak McPeter, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Ballykean's Bartel Bayes got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute, Aaden Doherty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Littlemill Brunts eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
