Keely Murphy helped the player get up and apologised. Rangers's Heron Sheridan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 26th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bebhinn McTommy but with some difficulty. After 29 played minutes Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Blaine McCready. Torrey McVictor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bebhinn McTommy having to interfere. Shamus McGlynn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Farrell McFrancise tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Ballygar Town was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piers Sheridan to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Breslin Callaghan came free, but Farrell McFrancise reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rangers's Farrell McFrancise played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piers Sheridan in the 48th minute of play.

Ballygar Town made a substitution. Seosamh Dimson replaced Terry Martyn. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Piers Sheridan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Darick McFrancise was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballygar Town's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rangers the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ballygar Town's Darick McFrancise got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Bebhinn McTommy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torrey McVictor, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Farrell McFrancise showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piers Sheridan in the 62nd minute of the match. Farrell McFrancise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darick McFrancise in the 64th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Ballygar Town's Farrell McFrancise threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Piers Sheridan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ballygar Town's Bebhinn McTommy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desmond McFrancise in the 79th minute of play. Piers Sheridan hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 98 minutes into the match, Ballygar Town's goal looked a bit too open when Brann McLiam came free, but Bebhinn McTommy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Ballygar Town left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rangers.
