Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Boru McStephen made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Caheradrine's Boynton Rutherford got a free kick in the 7th minute. Caheradrine's Peyton McNamee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boru McStephen in the 13th minute of play. Peyton McNamee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boru McStephen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harkin Rutherford struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Peyton McNamee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilbeggan. Harkin Rutherford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Caheradrine's goal looked a bit too open when Boru McStephen came free, but Peyton McNamee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ravan Savic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eamonn McWillie in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Kilbeggan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Branagain McWillie to maneuver through the defense. Donn McSteven's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Ravan Savic skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Boru McStephen kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Donn McSteven recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boynton Rutherford charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boynton Rutherford the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Caheradrine getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Boynton Rutherford hit a great ball. In the 49th minute, Boru McStephen made a precise shot to the right of Peyton McNamee. Caheradrine's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donn McSteven stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes in the game Ros Barrett did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Eamonn McWillie. After 59 played minutes Kilbeggan got a freekick which was hit by Branagain McWillie. In the 60th minute, Phelan McDonald got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boru McStephen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peyton McNamee having to make a save. When Ryan John fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caheradrine's protests and gave Ryan John a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes Caheradrine got a freekick which was hit by Ryan John. After a rather tough play, Kilbeggan's Bragan Ferguson got a free kick in the 77th minute. Peyton McNamee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boru McStephen in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 88th match minute, Caheradrine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phelan McDonald to maneuver through the defense. Boru McStephen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Peyton McNamee made a huge save. With a little luck, Caheradrine's Peyton McNamee got control of the ball when Boru McStephen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ravan Savic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donn McSteven in the 99th minute of play.
