Ballyguin's Bodibeua McWillie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bow McPeter in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When Wawrzyniec Tomiczek came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Ballyguin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wawrzyniec Tomiczek couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Ballintemple getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Farrell Mullan hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Wawrzyniec Tomiczek made a precise shot to the right of Tate McLiam. Ballintemple's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 82 minutes into the match, Ballintemple's goal looked a bit too open when Patton McWill came free, but Tate McLiam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Bodibeua McWillie successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bow McPeter got free with Bodibeua McWillie in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
