Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Becan McSteven made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, Lavey's goalkeeper Tiarnan McLiam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beartlai McNamara. Rowley Harkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel McWill having to interfere. Boru Dillon hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Tevin McJohn struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Tiarnan McLiam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Killanigan. In the 19th minute, Beartlai McNamara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiarnan McLiam was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beartlai McNamara got free with Tiarnan McLiam in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fergal McWill kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Lavey's Tiarnan McLiam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torna Todd in the 27th minute of play. Rowley Harkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Lavey's Tiarnan McLiam got control of the ball when Beartlai McNamara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tiarnan McLiam was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Torna Todd. Becan McSteven struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Daniel McWill didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lavey. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Fergal McWill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lavey's supporters rose to their feet, but Fergal McWill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel McWill breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torna Todd to strike the kick off in the second half. Killanigan's Daniel McWill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rowley Harkin in the 52nd minute of play. Becan McSteven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel McWill having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Lavey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artt McStephen to maneuver through the defense. Tiarnan McLiam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tevin McJohn in the 61st minute of play. Killanigan's Torna Todd got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Lavey getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Bowie Cooney hit a great ball. Lewis Deans charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lewis Deans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Killanigan's Lewis Deans got a free kick in the 67th minute. Daniel McWill came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Lavey's Becan McSteven. But to his dismay, Becan McSteven quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Fergal McWill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Killanigan's Torna Todd in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lavey's goalie prevented a goal. Tiarnan McLiam came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Killanigan's Beartlai McNamara. But to his dismay, Beartlai McNamara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Killanigan's Torna Todd got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel McWill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rowley Harkin in the 84th minute of play. Tiarnan McLiam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tevin McJohn went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Tiarnan McLiam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tevin McJohn in the 88th minute of play. With a little luck, Killanigan's Daniel McWill got control of the ball when Becan McSteven tried to sneak it across the goal line. There was no doubt that Killanigan were the better team. Killanigan's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
